Kleman was created from a dream. Its founder, René Cléon, was captured in the Second World War spending 5 years in captivity. In his spare time, he created small shoe models hoping to return home to France and launch his own shoe company. When he did return home, René followed through and created Kleman. Today, Kleman is recognized for its sturdiness, quality and timelessness.
